Welcome to Orlando Magic UK, the home of Orlando Magic fans in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 2016, Orlando Magic UK is run by four British Orlando Magic fans Paul Bacon from Mansfield, Mikey Clark from Somerset, Gary Craggs from Sunderland and Geraint Jones from Cardiff. Paul, Mikey, Gary and Geraint are frequent visitors to Central Florida watching the Magic, with nearly 100 live games between them, the goal is to share the passion for one of the NBA’s most historic franchises.

Our Mission

We want to bring Magic fans together from around the UK, through social media, our podcast, www.orlandomagicuk.com and organising group trips to Orlando to watch the Magic.

Our Story

After a successful Magic fan meet up before the 2016 London game between the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors, Mikey and Geraint launched Orlando Magic UK on Twitter with one goal, to reach out and engage with more Magic fans from around the UK.

In 2018, Paul Bacon joined the team as we launched our very own podcast “Penny For Your Thoughts” a platform to interview special guests, Magic fans and talk Magic Basketball. We’ve been fortunate to have special guests that include Magic CEO Alex Martins, David Steele and Dante Marchitelli from Bally Sports Florida, ex players Nick Anderson, Jeff Turner, Darrell Armstrong and Bo Outlaw as well as former head coach Brian Hill.

In 2019, we organised our first group trip to watch Games 3 and 4 in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, and another trip for the start of the 2022/23 season that included games against the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors.
