Today saw the Orlando Magic 2022-23 City uniform launched with the new team slogan; “Kingdom On The Rise”.
The orange theme of recent seasons is gone and a clean black uniform has taken over.
2022-23 City Uniform Launched – Why This Theme?
The all-black uniform has a metallic grey hint in a diamond pattern, designed to remind fans of a suit of armour. This represents strength, fortitude and the Magic players battling spirit on the court. The Magic are fighting to protect their kingdom as the Magic’s young core rise to conquer the basketball world!
The Magic’s Nike NBA City Edition uniform features a gothic “Orlando” script front and center of the jersey. Included further are subtle pinstripes and the iconic star on the side of the shorts, much loved symbols of the Magic.
The armour and Kingdom theme is also a nod to the pride and resiliency of the City of Orlando and its fans.
