A festive crowd saw a battling Magic fall short to the Pelicans by just 6 points in the Amway Center last night. Down by 20 points in the third quarter Orlando were able to reduce the difference to just two points with 2 minutes remaining of the game. Unfortunately the offence of Brandon Ingram and Devonte’ Graham proved decisive. Orlando fell in the end 110-104.
Cole Anthony and Wendell Carter Jr each had double-doubles on their return from injury to the team.
Magic Top Performers
Gary Harris had the hot hand early and his scores helped keep Orlando in the game. By the close he co-led Orlando in scoring with 22 points.
Cole Anthony with 22 points and 11 assists put the team on his shoulders
Wendell Carter Jr made 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Franz Wagner finished with 20 points.
