We are receiving comments & getting asked a lot of questions about how Mikey, Geraint & I (otherwise known as Orlando Magic UK) watch the NBA & particularly the Orlando Magic here in the U.K.
The simple answer is we have all bought the NBA League Pass.
WHAT IS NBA LEGUE PASS?
So to quickly explain the idea for those that are unaware:
NBA League Pass has the option to buy monthly or pay for the year.
You can but don’t have to watch games live, the fixtures are available on demand.
There are a variety of packages available from selecting 3 fixtures of choice in a calendar month, to a single team pass or having every team & every game. Depending on the package you select there are previous season’s fixtures, classic games & documentaries available.
BUYING A SUBSCRIPTION
I purchased mine through the NBA app using my Apple iTunes account to pay. I assume this option is available via Android devices as well. Alternatively you can just visit the NBA website at www.watch.nba.com
You can choose to watch the full game or a highlights reel. When watching games you can choose to have different statistics in view, camera angles, select the commentary you want to hear & become involved in game polls.
Personally, I have the full package & get great value from it. I watch every Magic game plus I watch highlights of many other teams. I do tend to watch full fixtures of the heavyweight clashes also.
