CAREER NIGHT FOR VUCEVIC HELPS THE MAGIC TOP BULLS

A career night for Vucevic helps the Magic top the Bulls to help break a four game losing streak, winning 123-119.

Vucevic becomes just the 3rd centre in Magic history to have a 40+ point and 19+ rebound game.

FIRST QUARTER

Orlando started brightly behind Nikola Vucevic who scored 13 of the teams first 15 points in a good shooting quarter.

A good start offensively including 6 points from Cole Anthony and 5 points from James Ennis III and Khem Birch.

SECOND QUARTER

Evan Fournier woke up offensively poring in 14 of his 20 points to help build a 10 point lead at half time.

Coby White helped keep the Bulls within touching distance making three 3-pointers.

A solid half for the Magic making 52.4% from the field and 9-16 from beyond the three point line.

THIRD QUARTER

Orlando consistently played through Vucevic for large parts of the game, a good decision as he posted another 11 points in the third quarter.

James Ennis III scored another 5 points in the quarter who finished with a season high 14 points including 8 trips to the free throw line.

An even third quarter saw Orlando head into the final quarter with an 11 point lead.

CRUNCH TIME

The Bulls came racing back as Zach Lavine got himself going with 24 points to help cut into Orlando’s lead.

Chicago tied the game in the closing minutes before a pair of free throws from Cole Anthony and Nikola Vucevic helped ice the game with 16 seconds remaining.

CAREER HIGHS

Nikola Vucevic finished with a career high 43 points to go along with 19 rebounds and 4 assists.

Vucevic continues to stake his claim for a second appearance as an NBA All Star this season, who’s having the best season of his career.

Rookie Cole Anthony posted 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals to go with a career high 9 assists, another solid performance.
