Free-Agent Mychal Mulder Signed

Free-agent Mychal Mulder signed last night with the Orlando Magic on a two-way contract. The 27 year old forward will wear number 2.

Mulder was waived by the Golden State Warriors at the end of 2021-22 season training camp. He has played a total of 67 NBA games with the Warriors, with 9 starts.

Mulder is 6’3” and appeared in 60 games last season with Golden State, making 6 starts. He averaged 5.6 points per game and 1 rebound in an average of 12.8 minutes per game. He shot just under 40% from three-point range and scored in double figures 13 times. On three occasions he registered 20 or more points, including a career-high 28 points on May 14 against New Orleans.

With free-agent Mychal Mulder signed the Orlando Magic roster stands at 17 players, including both two-way spots. NBA rules for this season allow a two-way player to be on the NBA team’s active list for no more than 50 games during the regular season. There is no limit on practices or workouts with the NBA team.

He is not expected to feature in the Orlando Magic Game Day 5 matchup tonight against the Charlotte Hornets having not yet practiced with the team.
