The trade deadline has come & gone & I think it fair to say that our Orlando Magic have not set the headline writers any work.
Our one piece of business is to acquire James Ennis from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for a 2020 second round pick we owned from the Lakers.
It is being reported that to accommodate Ennis the Menace (as he is nicknamed) the Magic will have to waive someone.
Ennis is a 6ft 6 small forward, who made his NBA debut in 2014 with the Miami Heat. He has since played for Memphis, New Orleans, Detroit, Houston & Philadelphia. His 327 game career in the NBA sees Ennis average 6.4 points per game & 3.2 rebounds.
The initial reaction from the NBA media is that Ennis will fit nicely to the Magic squad & offer some needed shooting.
