MARKING THE LOSS OF KOBE BRYANT

It has to be said the world of basketball has been united in marking the loss of a great. The Orlando Magic have certainly played their part both on & off the court.

The Amway Lit In Purple & Gold

I’m not a Lakers fan & will never be a Lakers fan. I did love to watch Kobe Bryant play basketball. I was lucky enough to see him play during the 2012 Olympics for Team USA. Unfortunately I did not get to see him in the Lakers uniform.

Kobe was injured in 2015 when I saw the Lakers in the Amway during his final season. I recall him being applauded as his name was being chanted when he appeared to sit on the Lakers bench & not just by those in the Amway wearing purple & gold.

Events like that which has befell the Bryant family & those other victims who are as yet unnamed remind us to treasure those we love be it our children, our partners, our parents, our family & our friends. Hold each other tight & enjoy every moment you have together as we never know when it will be gone.
