ORLANDO MAGIC 120 – 115 MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
Another superb result, getting the win by overhauling a 17 point deficit. Our 3rd straight win & all on the road. Another hard fought performance from the Magic, showing all of their hustle & grind qualities against a strong tea
What Happened?
We were down after the 1st Quarter by 8 & by 13 points at the half.
We took apart their lead during the 3rd out scoring them by 12.
Going into the 4th we were down by 1 point at 85-86.
The 4th quarter was a battle. The Magic took the lead with just over a minute played & never let it slip.
We had good ball movement again, producing 31 assists.
We scored 26 points off of turnovers, helped by the 10 steals we made.
5 players scored double figures. Vooch got another double-double, Markelle & AG produced full stat lines. Our scoring & recovery was being led by our bench as T Ross got lit for 24 🔥 MCW got 20 & DJ weighed in with 16 points.

Our Record
The Magic are now 12-23 when they trail after the 1Q, 16-10 when they lead.
We are 21 & 2 when we score at least 110 points, hit 115+ points & we have won all 17 games, 120 or more & its 12 games.
Our road record is now 14 wins & 20 losses. Against teams over 500 we now have a 6-26 record which is improved but still tells you where our struggle for wins has been this season.
The Playoff Picture
We stay in the 8th seed position after the Nets produced a brilliant win in the Staples Centre, beating the Lakers 104-102. If you get chance to watch the highlights it is definitely worth the time. Both the Bulls & Wizards got wins to keep their slim hopes of 8th alive.
Which means:
The Nets remained 7th, played 64 won 30 lost 34
The Magic remain 8th, played 65 won 30 lost 35
The Wizards stay 9th, played 64 won 24 lost 40
The Hornets are 10th, played 64 won 22 lost 42
The Bulls are 11th, played 65 won 22 lost 43
We have moved a step closer to the postseason by taking a win against a good team on the road. The momentum is growing.
We go again on Thursday in the Amway, when we face the Chicago Bulls. Our home record stands at 16 & 15.
