It’s back Magic fans, Orlando Magic basketball resumes tonight. The Orlando Magic face the LA Clippers.
Coming from the Walt Disney World NBA bubble this one has an 8pm UK time tip off. There has been no confirmation if the game is being shown on NBA League Pass.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE GAME
Expect to see both squads playing lots of their players, as in a pre-season friendly. One thing that has changed for these scrimmage games is that the quarters are reduced to 10 minutes.
Both teams have travelled to the NBA bubble with a full squad. The only player missing from the Magic is Al-Farouq Aminu. The Magic will be without Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz for tonights first scrimmage game, we may see Fultz feature against the Lakers on Saturday or the Nuggets on Monday. Mohamed Bamba will be on a 5 or 6 minute restriction as he adjusts to his new playing weight.
A NEW START
Coming into the hiatus the Magic were 6-4 across our last 10 games. We had a top rated offence & bottom rated defence which was a switch around from the season start. This is however effectively a new season after the enforced break. All teams are rested so this game is about finding rhythm & game fitness.
Records going into this new phase of NBA basketball are of little importance at this point.
As always LET’S GO MAGIC!
